A very Happy Christmas to everyone. I hope you have a great day and an enjoyable break and come back re-energised for 2023.
In 2023, the ICHR:
- will be holding more and more presentations around the country on hate speech laws, private property right and sexuality education in schools.
- will continue to lobby the Government and partake in consultations.
- expect our High Court legal challenge against the constitutionality of the Covid-19 laws to be heard.
- and at the end of 2023, we will once again exercise our freedom to gather, to drink, to eat and to honour, without apology.
We determine the paths we take, no-one else, be they left or right and we apologise to on-one for making our own decisions.
Happy Christmas all.
Actually, there is a such thing as a "conspiracy theorist"
They just so happen to be on the left, where they believe all sorts of whacky and unrealistic shit, like the Russia Collusion Hoax, the PeePee Tape Hoax, the Kavanaugh Rape Hoaxes, the Sandmann Hoax, the Covid Pandemic Hoax, yhe Firey but Mostly Peaceful Hoax, the Rittenhouse Hoax, the Hoaxsurrection, the Truckers Attacking Police Horses With A Bycicle Hoax, the Ukraine Democracy Hoax, the Secret Service Attack Hoax, the Stolen Declassified Documents Hoax, etc.
They are BlueAnon believers, and they are in a cult.
I would not like anyone to assume that my failure to respond to all the lies and cry babies should be construed as anything but dignified silence.
Least anyone by under any illusion and for the record let me say this:
- I will organize and attend ANY gathering I choose
- I will hand out awards if I choose and
- I will apologize to no one
Nobody dictates, blackmails or coerces me to do anything. If you have not learned that about me over the past 3 years, you are beyond help - so you may continue with your defamation but it has zero effect on me.
It's really not hard to understand why Boomers are so clueless and detached from reality when you remember that they grew up in an era of literal open communists producing all the pop culture; CSNY, Judy Collins, Bob Dylan.
@DevonStack and @millennialwoes made the point on last night's Millenniyule: the fake, manufactured "rebellion" of the 60s is part of the Boomer generation's core identity, and worse than that, the system has made sure to re-tool that manufactured rebellion for the following generations.
Millennials and Zoomers still act as though being "socially progressive" is somehow an act of defiance when the reality is that it was ingrained in pop culture long before most of us were even born. People enjoy the dopamine rush of righteous indignation, even if that outrage has been curated to them by the very same institutions they pretend to rebel against.
You can see it in the pop culture Gen X grew up with and certainly in the things I grew up with as a Millennial. My favorite example, by far, is Trent Reznor's NIN album "Year Zero." Released in 2007, YZ depicts a bleak vision of the US as a totalitarian state waging global Forever War, where the populace is forced to accept mass-medication, the government controls the flow of all information and public discourse, no one knows what the truth really is, and we all live under a pervasive regime of mass surveillance.
The only thing Trent got wrong? He imagined that the totalitarian government would be run by Christian fundamentalists. In perhaps the funniest music interview ever, Trent later lamented that under President Obama, "Year Zero [had] come true."
Trent is more honest and self-aware than most liberal musicians, but the Boomer derangement certainly trickled down through his generation and mine.
The Boomers will leave this world without ever understanding what they were complicit in and what kind of deranged alternate reality they dumped their children off into. It's going to be rough for those of us who can see things for what they really are.
