💥This is a golden opportunity to write to the remaining libraries on safeguarding points for the protection of the public (including all protesters, whatever their views). 💥This is especially if you can't get to the libraries in person. This terrifying event alone should alert and alarm all libraries to imnediately shut down all future DQSHs which clearly, is attracting such violent and armed extrenists. What will it take to get these wokeists off their agenda..carnage at their door, injured Library users...dead ones? I would not ever wish such a traumatic risk for any future Library event as a context to close these Drag Queen Reading events down, and I sympathetise with those who witnessed this dangerous maniac at large. Well done for those who bravely pursued him (hopefully at safe distance) so the police could apprehend him. This dangerous turn of events though, provides perfect context to close these vile reading sessions down. The absolute truth is, whatever "side" or for whatever "reason" the nutter with the sword was there for...it was linked, if not aimed at ordinary folk, even our kids and vulnerable people attending that Library on the day of a DQSH. It is was likely designed to cause alarm, distress and harm!💥
💪If you think writing is pointless, I would say now is the time to prove yourself wrong. These events MUST stop after this kind of potential attack which risked innocent lives INCLUDING our those of our precious children.
Each Library has a website. Get the contact details there. I suggest you write: "Urgent: Attn. Safeguarding and Operations Team. Emergent Safeguarding Risk and Request for Action (or similar) in the Header. Please be polite and on point. You don't need to know all the law and statutes, just say you are concerned about the forthcoming reading on X day at X Library with X Drag Queen (you don't even need to sign it, just say "Concerned Member of the Public".) Even if you don't give any other reasons you can say you are a concerned citizen and have been extremely alarmed at the arrest of a swordsman who was widely reported at large recently outside ...then paste in the link with date and details. You can say,...the Library Management have duty of care to all who attend the Library events including those who frequent bounds of library grounds, to protect the public at all times. Since such a threat has emerged after abundant reports of mounting scuffles, injuries and arrests amongst protests at similar events UK wide, this event and all such future ones should be shut down with immediate effect. These extremely contentious events are clearly attracting increasingly violent factions. This is a clear and present danger, especially to our vulnerable children who may attend these DQSHs.
You can sign off and if you use your name, you could also ask them to confirm they will shut the event down and reassure you they won't be held in that Library again.
Then.. write to your news outlets AND your MP for each area, as many as you can, get this out there!💪
Please add this to your tool box as well.

S67 Serious Crime Act 2015. The offence covers both online and offline communication, including through social media, e-mail, and letters, so is likely to cover booklets and pamphlets too as well as advertising about drag queen story hour.
Please someone from Blackpool name & shame this bully.
The lady protesting was not being aggressive, she was holding her pram with her child inside when this overly handy security gripped her & dragged her backwards, he showed no regard for the child in the pram that could have been frightened or injured and absolutely no no regard for if the lady had any back injuries ect. If any of you have trained in moving, handling & restraint you’ll agree he went too far and could have easily caused her an injury.
I’m fuming watching this and I hope you are too, he went way too far.
We all need to make complaints to the Library about this overly handy bully he needs to lose his job.
Blackpool Central Library today (Tuesday) for Drag Queen Story Hour!
Skip to 16m10s for the live feed of the resistance inside the library filming and protesting... The lady who approaches Aida H Dee, is Alison Hocking (a total legend ❤️), who claims to have been inspired by Mad Mix (26m10s)
Well done to all who attended in Blackpool today and to the legends who managed to infiltrate the grooming session! ✌️❤️✌️
