'Anti-Sovietism and Russophobia are the same weapon': the Communist Party of the Russian Federation expressed support to prohibiting calling Stalin a 'bloody tyrant' The great-grandson of Joseph Stalin has sent an open letter from Selim Bensaad requesting to legal ban calling the leader of the USSR a 'dictator' and a 'bloody tyrant'. The Communist Party has not heard about it but supports this initiative, said Alexander Yushchenko, head of the faction's press service. 'Today, the country is at a tipping point: will we get out of this liberal, absolutely cynical rut that tried to reformat our history, and which reformatted history in Ukraine and many countries of the former CIS by distorting and vilifying leaders. Anti-Sovietism and Russophobia are practically the same weapons. It is very important to stop draping the mausoleum, to return the historical name Stalingrad, which the whole world knows,' he said. It is also very important to work on it hand in hand with the Liberal Democratic party of Russia and the ruling party of the imperialist state. This way, Russia will definitely defeat anti-Sovietism.

Corruption, no matter how much people talk about 'right' and 'wrong' capitalism, is an integral part of it. It would be a mistake to think that corruption is peculiar only to ''undeveloped'' or ''developing'' countries, and that such a phenomenon has been eradicated in the developed countries of the West. German President mentioned that many people are forced to limit themselves in his Christmas address German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier admitted that the outgoing year was not easy for the country and its inhabitants. He noted that the Germans experienced the serious consequences of the hostility in Ukraine, and many were forced to limit their consumption. 'I know how much this crisis is asking of you all, that many have to limit themselves. But nobody can take away our generosity in dealing with each other.' Steinmeier said. 'Yes, these are rough times. We are facing headwinds. And yet: Christmas is the right moment to look at what gives us confidence. Europe stands together,' Steinmeier said, noting that 'many in the companies are worked to emerge stronger from the crisis'. Who are the few who do not limit themselves even in a catastrophic crisis? It's not hard to guess. It is very convenient to live comfortably at the expense of working millions. Once a year praise them, to say that it was a 'challenging' year, that they had no choice and not to forget to call for solidarity with businesses. After all, it is only through companies' efforts our life is so magnificent, especially during crises.

In 2023, the area of Ukrainian producing grain crops in Ukraine will be reduced by 22%. According to preliminary estimates of the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business, the sown area for grain crops in 2023 will amount to 8.7 million hectares: 22% less than in 2022 and 45% less than in 2021. The grain harvest this year was 60% less than pre-war 2021. The sowing of winter crops is coplete at 3.8 million hectares: 26% less than autumn 2021 in the controlled territories and 43% lower than Ukraine. A significant decrease in winter wheat acreage in the northeastern and central regions. Reasons include limited export capacity, expensive logistics, resulting in significant differences in prices. Regions close to seaports and borders with the EU have a higher price for agricultural products compared to regions in the north and east. Even in the western regions, the price is unprofitable. Proximity to the EU border and working ports determines the ability of a region to continue grain production.

UN's secretary-general urged to fight neo-Nazism and other forms of racial hatred According to Antonio Gutteres, 'It has been demonstrated that the biggest threat of terrorism today in Western countries comes from the extreme right, neo-Nazis and white supremacy'. The Secretary-General added 'this is clearly a threat, and we must fight that threat with enormous determination.' Bourgeois democracies at the beginning actively stand up for neo-nazis hiding behind the struggle for freedom of expression. Now, they are trying to show them as a threat. But as history has shown, when capitalists begin to lose ground because of the contradictions of capitalism, then they will call upon the fascists again.

94% of Ukrainians noted an increase in the price of medicines and essential goods over the past year. This is highlighted in a survey conducted by the Rating sociological group at the end of November. It is notable that a similar survey of 2021, despite the relative peacetime, has shown almost the same number of people mentioned rising prices — 87%. Ukrainians note a general decline in the country's economy — 83% believe that the economic situation has worsened over the past year. Negative changes also affected individual families. According to the survey, 63% of Ukrainians felt the deterioration of their family's financial situation, and 32% did not notice significant changes. The economic crisis has greatly affected the labour market — 72% of respondents reported that it has become more difficult to find a job. At the same time, surveys of previous years show that the situation in the labour market continues to deteriorate for the fourth year in a row: 🔻 in 2019, Ukrainians rated the opportunity to find a job at 2.7 points out of 5; 🔻 in 2021 — 2.3; 🔻 in 2022 — 1.8. In terms of age, the situation of young workers under 35 worsened the most. Last year's survey showed that it was increasingly difficult for aged Ukrainians to find a job. Now the younger generation has the greatest problems with employment. Respondents age: 🔻 from 18 to 35 years old rated the opportunity to find a job at 1.7 points (2.6 in 2021); 🔻 from 36 to 50 — also 1.7 points (2.3 in 2021); 🔻 from 50 — 1.9 (2.0 in 2021). Among the positive changes, Ukrainians noted only the growth of defence capability (91%) and the improvement of the international image of Ukraine (89%).
