It has come to my attention that Lana and Henrik of Red Ice have been hammered with a lot of obscene medical bills as a result of their latest child being born prematurely. Sigrid, their daughter, is fine now, but she had to spend 12 days in the NICU, and that costs a lot of money. Lana and Henrik have worked tirelessly for years to ensure Red Ice keeps going. They've suffered countless major losses in revenue streams after being kicked off all major platforms. After all the hard work they've put in for us, they should NOT have to suffer yet another crippling financial setback for simply having another beautiful White baby.
Please, go and give them something. Every bit will help.
My dear @thegoldenone just wrote in Telegram about this, but I thought to do it also. Joulutarina (in Finnish ''Christmas Story'') is a beautiful, empathetic, bittersweet Finnish production telling the story on how Joulupukki/Tomten, the Christmas (that has nothing to do with Christ though) Present Giving Gnome or Man got to be who he is known as for today.
Excellent atmosphere, easy to follow, suitable for even the littlest ones and very genuine. In Sweden is available via SF Anytime as ''En tomtesaga'', in Finnish is known as ''Joulutarina'' and in English-speaking countries is known as ''Christmas Story'' from 2007.
I will leave you with a trailer I found:
'I know that I hung on that windy tree,
Hung there for nights full nine;
With the spear I was wounded, and offered I was
To Odin, myself to myself,
On the tree that none may ever know
What root beneath it runs.
Neither horn they upheld nor handed me bread;
And there below I looked;
I took up the runes, screaming I took them,
And forthwith back I fell.'
Some stanzas in the Poetic Edda (Hávamál 138, 139) hit so hard. I have meditated upon (and drawn inspiration from) these two stanzas as of late.
Beautiful and epic!
A clarification on the teaching Your Ancestors Are Watching.
It is about accountability – about knowing that you are not alone and that others are counting on you to make the right choices.
Moreover, when I say that it is good to be a 'regular guy' and that one's ancestors can be seen as 'regular guys' – think of it in this way: Sam is the greatest hero of The Lord of the Rings. He is a 'regular guy' who rises to the challenge, and in doing so becomes extraordinary. Defeating impossible odds is not exclusively for demigods or for those stemming from an illustrious lineage.
^Note: for those who are new here, I am for a return to healthy gender-relations, and for increased European birth-rates. My main point is that it is a bad look and ultimately unproductive – counter-productive, even – to pester women about having children.
A hard look in the mirror for the Right-wing.
The view on women.
Motherhood is sacred and must always be upheld as a great path for a woman. The encouragement of motherhood must come from a position of love. Motherhood is a blessing.
Some "Right-wingers" (actually just men tormented by resentment against the world, including women) pester women about having children – not from a position of love, but from a position of wanting to aim criticism.
This resentment causes them to lash out against women without children, often in a very spiteful and unmanly manner.
Again, the encouragement of women to go along the path of motherhood must be one of positive love (viewing children as a blessing), instead of one of shaming.
Moreover, this constant pressure on women to have children is not helpful. It only reinforces the notion of having children as a burden as opposed to a blessing.
Lastly, as I have noted before, having children is indeed a blessing. It is not, however, a political action – and the notion that creating a family is such is a meme that must go.
The Kali Yuga or the Golden Age?
Perhaps one could argue that we are in the Kali Yuga. However, we can also view it as a state of mind. Choose yourself; black-pill (Kali Yuga = low thumos) or white-pill (Golden Age = high thumos).
This is not to say that one should ignore the gravity of the situation. We should indeed acknowledge the dire straits European civilisation finds itself in. However, a high-thumos, life-affirming attitude is much better than always just lamenting how bad everything is.
I could not bring myself to post a bugman soyface, so I went with the Ancient North-Eurasian Platonic (i.e. Raphael's School of Athens Plato) pose instead.
What am I excitedly pointing at, you might ask. The beauty of the land!
I always endeavour to make videos when temperatures go low; it feels like I am out on an Arctic photographic expedition. Good times!
Speaking of which, I just posted a video to YouTube/Odysee. The video is a response to Jordan Peterson on the topic of whether anonymity makes you a coward.
The Trump NFT card scheme is hard to grasp. Who the hell thought this was a good idea?
And the hype before about his "big announcement".
I guess he knows he's done in politics so he'll just try to scam some mustards a last (?) time.
